Brew Brothers of Pikes Peak

As a board member with the Brew Brothers of Pikes Peak (BBoPP) since January 2023, I have served as Vice President (twice), Competitions Director, and interim President. Throughout my tenure in a leadership role, the club has launched a new website to modernize the internet presence of the club, implemented new communications strategies to keep members up-to-date, and it has increased its event load to promote member engagement, homebrew competition submissions, and provide more educational opportunities to its members. Ultimately, this has resulted in a 17% increase in the membership from January 2023 through May 2026.

One of the great things that BBoPP does is host the annual Peterson Homebrew Fest or “PeteFest” hosted in Colorado Springs, CO at the Peterson Space Force Base. This international homebrew competition emphasizes entries that support military-related brewers to submit entires, come together on base to share homebrew, and provide education on the hobby to active military members.

Another great thing that the club does is host the local Feast of Saint Arnold, which is the largest beer festival in Colorado Springs, CO. That beer festival features dozens of local breweries as well as hosts professional and homebrew competitions.
